The SU believes that the cost of menstrual care products is an unfair burden placed on those that need them, and as part of a larger body of work has committed to providing menstrual care products to those in need.
We are supplying over 30 bathrooms across campus in the SU Atrium, SUHQ, Rootes Building, Warwick Arts Centre, Chaplaincy, Oculus, Faculty of Arts, Sports Hub, Warwick Business School, Library, and the Dirty Duck Pub. To view the full list, scroll to the bottom of this page!

#EndPeriodPoverty Volunteers
Complete the sign up form to become a volunteer for the End Period Poverty campaign and be involved with supplying period products across campus!
Volunteering involves collecting stock from the SU Membership Office at the start of the week to replenish your allocated bathroom(s). This could be bathrooms in your academic building or a place on campus you visit regularly, making it the perfect volunteering opportunity to fit around your busy student timetable!
Free Menstrual Care Products for Students
Students can use this form to request a small number of towels, tampons, and pregnancy tests. Turnaround time: 24-48 hours.

Menstrual Care Collections for Charity
Warwick SU officers and societies regularly organise collections of menstrual care products outside Rootes Grocery Store for charities such as Women's Aid and the Trussell Trust.

Cost-Price Menstrual Care Products
Warwick SU calls on Warwick retail and M W Phillips Pharmacy to provide menstrual care products at cost price, to reduce the financial burden on people who need them.
Menstrual Care Product Vending Machines
Warwick SU calls on the University to provide menstrual care product vending machines in all accommodation blocks and toilets (regardless of gender) across campus, to ensure easy access to menstrual care products for those that need them.
Inclusive Language Around Menstruation
We recognise that not all women menstruate and not all people who menstruate are women, that there are many non-binary people and men who menstruate. We are therefore committed to using, and encouraging the use of, inclusive language around menstruation. This includes referring to "people with periods" or "people who menstruate" rather than simply "women" when discussing menstruation.
