Jitsu is a practical and effective form of self-defence, which improves confidence, balance and co-ordination, as well as being great fun! You will learn to defend yourself from a wide range of attacks, including punches, kicks, strangles, grabs and weapons, using throws; joint locks and strikes. You don't have to be fit or strong to start, these naturally improve with training. Training is fun and friendly and no previous experience is expected. We are a sociable club and spend a lot of our time in the pub after training as well as organising nights out and national competitions and events. If you want a feel for the club click here for our gallery.
We train weekly on Tuesdays & Thursdays in the Combat Room of the Sports Hub. We will be training at the following times in the 2023-24 academic year:
*TUESDAYS* - 7-8.30pm.
*THURSDAYS* - 8-10pm.
The Combat Room can be found at:
Ground floor of Warwick University Sports and Wellness Hub Warwick University Campus CV4 7AL
