An active, diverse and vibrant club full of wonderful people, always looking for new members and catering for all sailing and windsurfing levels. Whether you're a beginner wanting to give sailing or windsurfing a go, a dinghy racer waiting to show off your talent, an experienced yachtie looking for like-minded sailors or you simply want to have a great social life with a bit of sailing in between, we have something for you! We run regular social sailing and windsurfing sessions at Draycote Water Sailing Club on Saturdays, catering to everyone from absolute beginners to instructors who are keen to help teach, in addition to team training on Wednesday afternoons.

Within Sailing we have opportunities to compete in local Team Racing Events such as Birmingham, Nottingham and Loughborough as well as some of the BUCS Team Racing, Fleet Racing, Match Racing and Yachting Championships. Every year we also run our own team racing event which draws in universities from across the country for an exciting weekend of team racing and socials.

Within Windsurfing, we send teams to Student Windsurfing Events in places such as Cambridge, Birmingham and Southampton as well as competing in the BUCS Windsurfing Championships.

We run a tour at the end of the summer term where we participate in a summer sail week with other universities on yachts, with previous destinations including Croatia and Greece.
